Valiyev made the remarks at an event dedicated to the Victory Day of Türkiye at the Turkish embassy in Azerbaijan, Report informs.
“Today we are solemnly celebrating the Victory Day of fraternal Türkiye. Today, relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye are at the highest level. The presidents have an exceptional merit in reaching such a level of relations. Important steps are being taken to bring the Azerbaijani army in line with the model of the Turkish armed forces upon Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s instructions. Cooperation between the Azerbaijani and Turkish armies strengthens our unity, serves to maintain stability and increases prosperity in the region. The combat training exercises between the two countries are planned to be intensified. In other words, cooperation between the armies of the two fraternal countries will continue. I congratulate you on the Victory Day of Türkiye and revere the memory of the martyrs,” Valiyev said.
